SAAM’s Stirling Social: A Day at the Foot of Dumyat
Adoptees gathered at the foot of Dumyat, the Stirling hill whose path we shared in both silence and solidarity. Some made the climb, while others stayed behind to create a welcoming “base camp” — with Lindsey making sure the kettle was on, and space was held for stories, laughter, and connection. Later, we all regrouped for a relaxed BBQ and some informal adoptee planning. As the hours slipped by, something rare happened: a moment of togetherness that may never be quite repeated — but will always be remembered.

"Special thanks to Pretzel, our mascot — without whom none of this would be possible."
